| General Facility Description |
The Divi Flamingo Beach Resort and Casino overlooks the turquoise Caribbean Sea, surrounded by 50 spectacular dive sites, all within a 15-minute boat ride. Intimate and informal, guests enjoy comfortable accommodations, Oceanside dining, and excellent shore diving.
Divi is the comeback kid, having reinvented itself after a massive restoration. New furnishings, paint, tiles, and rejuvenated air-conditioning have made this once-tired old waterfront hostelry more comfortable than it's been in years. It began as a gone-to-seed hotel with a cluster of flimsy wooden bungalows used to intern German prisoners in World War II. With foresight and taste, the owners turned it into a resort, offering individual cottages and seafront rooms with private balconies resting on piers above the surf, so you can stand on your balcony and watch rainbow-hued tropical fish in the waters below.

| Room Facility and Description |
The resort's original rooms were supplemented in 1986 with the addition of time-share units, forming Club Flamingo. These are the newest and best rooms, and each of the units is rent able by the day or the week. The accommodations in both sections are spacious and sunny, with ceiling fans and Mexican accents. The newer units are clustered into a green-and-white neo-Victorian pavilion facing its own curving pool. Each contains a kitchenette with carved cupboards and cabinets of pickled hardwoods. All units have well-kept bathrooms with shower/tub combinations.
Please note that Satellite T.V. and telephone are available only for the deluxe rooms.
