Hello BeachDestinations.com First and for most you all are the best. I refer you to everyone that I know and even on my trip to Curacao I was giving out your web address to a couple on a tour that I took of the island. You have the best prices and you always follow up with my reservations. My hat is off to each and every one of you for a job well done. My trip to the island was outstanding. But I must tell the you hotel was not up to standards. Howard Johnsons was in the best location that anyone could have asked for. But the service was very much lacking. When we arrived they gave us a smoking room and we as that we have our room changed; they informed us it would take up to 30 minutes. Our new room had a wet smell and housekeeping was gone for the day and the front desk help could not work the dry vac. They do not supply the guest with washcloths at all. The air conditioner did not work for 2 days; thank god we had a good breeze from the open window. The electrical adapters did not work; so we could not use our hair dryers or charge the cell phones; we had to keep taking everything to the front desk to be charged. I do understand that the hotel did not have a lot of amenities but not even a snack bar; so we went to other hotels to eat and have late night snacks. I would not refer that hotel to others at all.
