This contemporary beachfront resort hotel is located in the heart of the historical fishing village of Kailua-Kona on the Big Island of Hawaii. It is located on a sandy bay (the only one in Kona).
This 6-storey, mid-range historical hotel offers 460 comfortable guest rooms, some of which are wheelchair accessible. Guests have access to the public beach and the hotel offers a valet service, laundry and dry cleaning (fees apply), a laundrette, guest service desk and a travel desk.

Parking is available for a minimal fee.
Observations
Is announcing that they have entered into a franchise agreement with the Courtyard by the Marriott and will be branded as a Courtyard by the Marriott targeting late fall 2011. Updates on specific details will be updated.
Renovations Continue until the end of August 2011. The Kona Beach Restaurant remains closed and under renovations. Breakfast lunch and dinner is still being serving at the Paddlers Restaurant. Lunch and dinner is also being serving at the Billfish Bar. Main lobby and grounds renovation continue until the end of August. The Fitness center has been modernized with new treadmills, elliptical and weight benches.

The guest rooms and suites of this hotel are no less impressive, many offering an inspiring view of the ocean, and all with a private lanai and many other comfortable and refreshing amenities.
