Renovated in 2008, this is a magnificent upscale 121-room luxury establishment and offers guests unmatched proximity to the ocean. Facilities on offer to guests at this charming air-conditioned beach establishment include a lobby area with a 24-hour reception and check-out service, a hotel safe, a currency exchange facility and lift access. The younger guests will enjoy the kids club and there is a cafe, a bar and a restaurant. | A special spa features traditional and holistic treatments native to Kauai, including a couples massage room. A newly built outdoor swimming pool with a poolside snackbar, sun loungers and parasols and a jet spa compliment the tropical settings. Sports enthusiasts may enjoy a work-out in the gym or relax in the hot tub. It is possible to try diving (for an additional fee), surfing, windsurfing (charges apply) and, for an additional fee, sailing, catamaran sailing and canoeing. Guests can play a game of tennis, go horse riding (charges apply) or enjoy a cycle ride (charges apply) and golf fans will find the nearest course, Poipu Bay Golf, just 2.4 km from the hotel.
