Several protected areas may be visited from Liberia, including Santa Rosa National Park near the town of La Cruz and Rincón de la Vieja National Park. You should stay a minimum of 3-7 nights at any of the hotels in Guanacaste Province - some hotels require 5 nights stays during peak season. Papagayo Gulf is not a white sandy beach area. Ocotal is a Great choice for divers and couples. |

Villas Sol Hotel and Beach Resort is a beautiful hotel on a cliff overlooking the beach, islands, and local dive sites. The beach is beautiful and activities apart from scuba diving include sea kayaking, beach volleyball, jet skis, sport fishing and other water sports. There are two swimming pools, plus a tennis court, volleyball nets, jet skiing and kayaks available, as well as a mini-market, a car rental office and a passenger tram that carts guests from the beach to the hotel lobby. Villas Sol Hotel and Beach Resort also features several in-house restaurants, bars and nightclubs, including a nifty poolside bar, where your favorite libations can be served as you float. This beach hotel offers a plenty of activities that will make your staying a great experience.
