| Liberia is the central of stopover distribution, scale and excursion for the Guanacaste area. There are many beaches to choose from. Among them are Panama, Playa Hermosa, Del Coco, and Ocotal. Several protected areas may be visited from Liberia, including Santa Rosa National Park near the town of La Cruz and Rincón de la Vieja National Park. You should stay a minimum of 3-7 nights at any of the hotels in Guanacaste Province - some hotels require 5 nights stays during peak season. Papagayo Gulf is not a white sandy beach area. The accommodations at Ocotal are spacious and comfortable; each of the rooms and suites have either 2 queen or 1 King size bed. All rooms are air-conditioned furnished with overhead fans, satellite TV, telephone, coffee makers, safe deposit boxes, hair dryers and private ocean view terrace terraces or balconies. Suites includes a living room, refrigerator, and Jacuzzi. They offer food and beverage service to all the pools, rooms, and beach areas.
