Our vacation at the Sun Palace Resort in Cancun was absolutely wonderful. Getting there from the airport took 10 minutes. Our private transfer was very nice - we didn`t have to wait for anyone or go to any other hotels before arriving at our destination. The hotel was perfect. It was small yet elegant and everything was easily accessible. As always, service in Cancun/Riviera Maya was top notch. I would recommend the Sun Palace to anyone looking for a laid back, no stress easy going vacation. The beach was excellent. There was always an open chair...in fact we were a group of 6 and always found chairs together even though the hotel was at full capacity. The beach and entertainment staff was courteous and helpful in finding us an umbrella, boogie board, bocce ball game or drink as soon as we were ready. I recommend the included kayak tour of the mangroves, but suggest doing the 4pm tour due to the hot sun. You can`t believe you are anywhere near the city when you are tucked away in the mangroves looking at the wildlife.
All of the restaurants were great, especially the Italian & Sushi restaurants...we ate at each several times. You never went hungry! I especially enjoyed the little snack stations that popped up all over the place throughout the course of the day. Very nice touch!
I would recommend beachdestinations.com and Sun Palace to my friends & family, and plan to go back the next chance I get. Great service, easy booking through the website and what a great trip!!!
