Barcelo Puerto Vallarta is hidden from the outside world by the lush Sierra Madre jungle. Located just 12 minutes south of town, this all suite resort features oceanfront terraces with views of beautiful Mismaloya Bay and the resort's 4 swimming pools. Larger groups flock to the resort seeking the same pleasures found by couples and families. A 1.75 km (1 mi) jogging path offering spectacular ocean views extends along a mountainside. On the beach south of the river is a row of open-air cantinas. Scuba divers and snorkelers enjoy the proximity to the giant offshore rocks and arches comprising Los Arcos National Park 1.75 km (1 mi) away.
