| On Banderas Bay at the foot of lush tropical mountains on Mexico's Pacific coast, Puerto Vallarta has retained much of its charm as it has evolved from fishing village into a hip resort town. There's no lack of things to do. Stroll on the town's malecon (boardwalk), take a boat trip to Los Arcos Islands, go on a canopy tour in the tropical forest. From January to March you can watch humpback and gray whales up close. Cap it all off enjoying some seafood and a michelada at La Palapa on the beach as the sun sets over the Pacific. |

Swimming Pool: The biggest pool in Vallarta. Two Jacuzzis. Opening hours from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM. The Melia are glad to inform the clients that stating in December 2006 and during the months 2007 the pool will have warm water .The water temperature will be approximately 27c / 82f.
Kid`s Pool: Pool for very young children.
Club House: Information center for all activities offered at the Hotel, beach towel service, pool tables, table games (cards, domino, chess), shooting range, tennis, library. Open daily from 9:00 AM to 7:00PM.
Tennis: Two tennis courts, open daily from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM with previous reservation.
Fabulous nightly shows and relax by the largest pool in Vallarta.
Bamm Bamm Club: Open daily from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, for children from 5 to 12 years. Playground, climbing wall, camping at hotel grounds, arts and crafts, supervised activities.
